Well it aint been too long Since I found myself stricken down from what I had saw. Mrs. Big Eyes and Bright Smile And long, brown, braided hair that seemed to go on for miles. She's so good, nobody compares! Nobody knows what it feels like to be in her stare! Sun-drenched skin; Eyes so wide; When she looks at me, baby I get high! (chorus) My love is alive girl! And you know that it's true for only you! The moment is right girl! Free my soul and set my heart so true! With a kind-hearted soul, She's an angel on earth that everybody should know. WOOH! And when I see those smiling eyes The angels rejoice in choirs on high! Come on baby, please make me the luckiest man the world had every seen and take my hand! We're going to the promised land! She's so good, nobody compares! Nobody knows what it feels like to be in her stare right now! Sun-drenched skin; Eyes so wide; She looked at me and I got high! (chorus) (solo) She's so good, nobody compares! Nobody knows what it feels like to be in her stare! Sun-drenched skin; Eyes so wide; When I looked in her eyes I GOT HIGH! I GOT HIGH!!!! I GOT HIGH!!!!!!!! IIIII GOOOTT HIIIIIGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

A tight suit and a black stained vest On the man in front of me. A violin under his hand; I wondered who this man could be. He sat tall with poise and a smile And a confidence that I'd never seen. Oh, but when I looked into his eyes, All I saw were his broken hearts and dreams. Then I stepped out the subway doors. Will I see this man again, oh nevermore. I turned around and the sirens they alarmed. Now he's gone... He's gone... Vincent Montessori Left his home at 17. As a child, he made his name across the entire music scene. A downhill spiral led To the loss of his fortune and fame. A tight rope around his neck brought an end to his name. And yet, I stepped out the subway doors. Will I ever see this man again, oh nevermore. I turned around and the sirens they alarmed. Now he's gone...

Sittin in the bedroom, with a knock on my door, My baby said she don't wanna be with me no more. She said she found another, as cute as can be and out comes the picture of the man who took her from me. He had eyes like the ocean; she said "We were twins!!" But all I saw was devil, and he was covered in sin. With nothing left to do here, she closed the door. "I guess I wont be seein ya here around no more" (chorus) He's just too perfect, and you know it well. You're telling me to go. He's just too perfect, you know it well. It's time for me to go on home. She said "I'll see your face; maybe another day, But right now we're goin our separate ways." So I say "Goodbye." One more time, This is goodbye... Back on the couch, feelin blue as can be. With all I thought and all I'd done, a pretty face took her from me. 'Seven Days' by Sting was all I could hear. I though "We won't be playing Scrabble for her hand I fear." He had hair like the wind and a face like God. IQ not present, but a Breaches Bod! Thinkin of the pain that she had already caused; It only took her one look and she was gone. (chorus)

Journey 05:02
Drivin' faster down a lonesome road in my bright red Chevrolet. My review mirror looks a little smaller every single day. Nothin' that I can do to make these winds of change slow down; I just keep moving on down... Speed-freak cruisin' down beside me on this one-lane high. There's no cops to slow him down and no traffic light. In one town and out the other, I just ramble on. And girl, you know it won't take long... Down the road, I see so many things I could implore. A pot-hole here, hitch-hiker there, and a silver, rusted Ford. Look behind me; all see is skies of days that past. The road ahead looks vast... (Chorus) Look ahead what do I see. You and I are living free. There is nothing I could say On this journey to the grave. Soon one day, the sun will set and then my tale is done. And my old beat-up Chevrolet will entertain someone. And if one that day, all I see is you smile, I'll know that it was all worthwhile. (chorus)

Howlin' Wolf 02:02
They've been busy, tryin' to get my way. I'm a man on the prowl. You're workin' hard, just to keep my way. Too bad I ain't stickin' around. Like a howlin' wolf Like a howlin' wolf Like a howlin' wolf Like a howlin' wolf In some minutes, well I'll be singling A piece of prey from the crowd. Got a little money, and some I wanna spend. But I'm a wolf, SO HEAR ME HOWL! Like a howlin' wolf Like a howlin' wolf Like a howlin' wolf Like a howlin' wolf WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One... two... three... four... Met this girl with a' big brown eyes. Never seen her before but she told me to find her On Yonge Street, so I went with my ratty shoes. Makin my way downtown with the Yonge Street Blues So I met her friend, n' she was quite alright. But then she went unfaithful to me one night On Yonge Street, down with my ratty shoes. Makin my way downtown with the Yonge Street Blues So I found another, tall, big blues eyes. Two for three, and now I just cried On Yonge Street, down with my ratty shoes. Makin my way downtown with the Yonge Street Blues N' now at the party, I saw another one. But she just look up, down, and I'm not the one for her On Yonge Street, no more ratty shoes. Makin my way downtown with the Yonge Street Blues But now I finally found her, she's the one. No more pretenders, I found quite enough On Yonge Street, with my ratty shoes. And she's not hoping for me to find the blues. With long brown hair and big brown eyes, and a preaches smile, oh it makes me cry On Yonge Street, down with my ratty shoes. Makin my way uptown with the Yonge Street Blues NO MORE! She's not hoping for me to find the blues. I say, she's not hoping for me to find the blues.

Evening Lies 04:10
I've been thinking of Marissa; Long blonde hair with eyes so bright. She goes cruising at the corner With a one-way ticket to the night. I just sit here on my bed wondering If she'll be back again in the morning. With a bottle of Jack as my only friend, There's an old familiar stranger at my door again. (chorus) My baby's working for those evening lies. The way she treats me, it's as cold as ice. I do not hold her back cause she's already gone. And though at home when I weep, she's lovin' someone. When she is gone, all I do is pray. Praying for her safety, and for her to stay. When she is back, all I do is cry Cause though she's here right now, she'll leave again tonight. (chorus) Now she's gone; I'm alone. Though she calls me, I'm not home. Down to find her; her long brown hair. At the corner, I'll be there. Ol' Marissa drives to me in a Cadillac. But then she stops to scream; the old man attacks. And as I stand there, watching her die, All the weights are lifted; no more time to cry.

8mm Blues 07:14
Woke up this morning On the last day of my life. Yeah I woke up this morning On the last day of my life. Well I think I'll go down to the place Where my baby left last night. She was too fine Prettiest damn thing that I've seen. Yeah, so fine! The prettiest damn thing that I've seen. I know I wasn't too good for her. I got caught in between. (tell it to me Suzanne) (do that growling thing for me one time) It seems to me I gotta take this all into my own hands. Well it seems to me I gotta take this all into my own hands. Take my 8mm Send her to the promise land. (Lets give Jessica a turn on this) (shoot her down Jessica!!)

about

**I PLAYED EVERY INSTRUMENT AND SANG EVERY VOCAL TRACKS ON ALL SONGS**

You walk onto a train, bus, or subway and sit down inside the empty space. A few stops later, in walks a man, a stranger, dressed in peculiar clothing; his Italian-made suit is 20 years and 2 sizes his junior; his pockets bulge with what looks like rope; a fake smile is plastered on his face in a failing attempt to conceal his sad blue eyes. This man also carries with him a violin. As you try to decipher who this stranger is and what his story could hold, you arrive at your stop, step off, and watch the stranger ride off, never to see him again.
What was his name?
What did he do for a living?
Who did he love?
Who loved or left him?
Why the violin?
Why the sad eyes?
Will I see this man again?
Nevermore. He is dead now.

Stranger on the Subway was conceived as a way to address a lot of the emotions and stories behind every stranger that we come across with themes of MORTALITY (see Stranger on the Subway, Journey, My Last Waltz, The Eagle), LOVE/HEARTBREAK (see My Love is Alive, He's Just Too Perfect, Journey, Ballad of Yonge Street), LUST (see My Love is Alive, Howlin' Wolf, Evening Lies, 8mm Blues), HATE (see He's Just Too Perfect, Evening Lies, 8mm Blues), and of course, LONELINESS (see Stranger on the Subway, Journey, My Last Waltz, Howlin' Wolf, Evening Lies, 8mm Blues, The Eagles).

Everything written/recorded/produced by myself. Thank you to my Grade 12 English teacher, Maurizio DeFranco for inspiring and encouraging me to write the original short story. To everyone, thank you so much for purchasing this album (if you decide to), stay tuned for more music, and as always, ENJOY!!! :)

With the purchase of this album, you also get a copy of the original story of Stranger on the Subway, the "official" vid of He's Just Too Perfect, and a couple other fun little vids of me jamming on bass.
